The "red cloud" is the distinctive symbol of the Akatsuki, a secret organization present in the universe of the popular manga/anime Naruto. The group was founded in the Ame Village, a place scarred by years of bloody wars that devastated the civilian population.

The red cloud therefore represents rain clouds that, metaphorically, fall tinged with blood. More precisely, the cloud symbolizes the oppression that looms, but also the desire to change the world order. The color red, on the other hand, embodies spilled blood, pain, and the desire for revenge.
