Mitchell & Ness is an American sportswear brand founded in the early 1900s in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . The brand became famous for its jerseys, T-shirts, jackets, and caps featuring the logos of American MLB baseball, NFL football, NBA basketball, and hockey teams.

The company was founded as a manufacturer of sports equipment, but after several years of making baseball and American football uniforms , changed direction in 1983, when it decided to produce vintage uniforms.

Today Mitchell & Ness has licensing agreements with four of the major sports leagues in the United States ( MLB , NBA , NFL And MLS ) to produce and market sports equipment and apparel. Some products include major team uniforms and other casual wear such as T-shirts, tracksuits, jackets, hoodies, hats, caps, and other accessories.

In 2022, Mitchell & Ness was acquired by Fanatics Inc. , along with a group of investors including LeBron James s , Jay-Z and Kevin Hart .
